Standing Stone Designs (SSD) is a dynamic web services company founded by Ernest Black in 1997 and incorporated in 2008. Our associates include a roster of talented independent programmers and designers, with proficiency in custom web development; WordPress responsive site design; graphics, photography, and videography; PHP, SQL, Javascript, and CSS; and social media and SEO (search engine optimization). SSD offers a full range of web services including design, development, hosting and site management. Online since 1997, SSD has built a diverse roster of satisfied clients.
Ernest Black is a web developer, writer and photographer who served for many years as Webmaster at Huge Universe, Inc., provider of the largest family of pro audio web sites and online communities on the Web, including flagship site ProSoundWeb and LiveSoundInt, the website for Live Sound International Magazine. He is currently Webmaster for the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, Telefunken Elektroakustik, After Fifty Living, Downtown Chiropractic, The Law Offices of Barry R. Lewis, and Milford Public Safety. Prior to working for Huge Universe, he served as Webmaster at Idiom Technology, Inc. and Applix, Inc.. Armed with an MA in English and Creative Writing, Ernest has taught English and Humanities at Fisher College, Suomi College, and Colorado State University.
